This is already been posted but at $11K, I'd just go Adventure Trailer.... or build one of your own like I am.

I thought the same thing until that last photo?

WTH? Didn't see that before. Adventure Trailers doesn't have inside seating.

10 grand for the standard edition, 12 grand for the "extreme" edition with 35" tires and skid plates.....are you kidding me....a pop-up camper with 35's and skid plates....not to mention the price tag. Yeah it's nice, and the one with the 35's looks badassed, but really now, I could buy a trailer frame with axle, and build one myself for half that much.....

oldtimer has an R-Pod similar to this (I think) that he takes everywhere with his KJ. Maybe not made for offroading or doing Moab, but a lot for the price. Just sayin'...

I think some of you guys are missing a detail.

ALUMINUM FRAME

Most of your popups, pull behinds and even fifth wheel trailers have wood frames.

I don't care if the frame is made of space-age titanium alloy and dipped in 24K gold... I'm not going to pay as much for a pull-behind as what you can buy the Jeep for!

It looks cool but for $11K or much less you can get a popup camper used at most any RV dealer that will have more room and more amenities like even A/C. I saw a 2008 popup that sleeps 6 had stove, a/c, sink, grill and outside shower for $6500 and it was clean and in great shape just down the road at a dealer a few months ago. sure you can't take it to places as rough but who camps on a rock pile?
