Well this little modification wasnt of my doing. More like the doing of some ignorant @sshole that cant drive! So apparently while i was in class, someone totally side-swiped my baby  :furious:  ! she has this long streak of burnt clear coat and scratches running ALL the way down my passenger side like 4"s under the side moulding! Guess this means ill be spraying her down with some Line-X sooner than i thought. figured i would wait til i got my 4.56s in, but looks like this ugly scar will motivate me to go ahead and get her sprayed :banghead:

Just got in my new set of Bilstien shocks to replace the SkyJackers. Black and Silver vs the previous blue/yellow color Bilstien used. Did I read correctly that I'll need a couple washers to help snug them in. I really don't like the idea of drawing the bolt so tight it bends the mount. Although, I'm sure it works fine. :)

Clacker, sorry to hear about damage. You'll definitely want to get it covered up some how soon.

Much happier with the iPod integration then my factory deck (front aux input that always buzzed :frankie: ), however as always sacrificed the strong FM reception. I don't understand how after market stereo producers can't improve FM reception. I need to call crutchfield because I currently have zero :dead: AM reception. Truth is I listen to AM 2% of the year but when I need traffic reports I want it there.

Next step is replacing the speakers and finishing my amp install.

Called Crutchfield who sold me the deck, their customer service has exceptional. A person answered within 1 minute, asked for the order number, knew what I had bought and my vehicle, his first question about the wire I didn't hook up solved the issue and now I have AM reception :D . The wire is the blue wire on the PAC harness that needs to go to "ant rem" on the deck.

Amp is almost hooked up, and waiting for my new Polk speakers.

Yea, just flat black. The idea is to spray the bumpers, fenders and the lower half of the doors... i know it seems kinda pointles to spray my stock bumpers since eventually they are gonna be replaced with steel ones which i will in turn need to Line-X also. I just think it would look wierd if the bumpers werent done

this gas overflow problem is getting ridiculous... jeep is going in for service next week. it happens every time i fill up... i'm incredibly frustrated with this. also having issues with my passenger side fog HID... going nuts with the problem. one the positive i'm goin out to play with my jeep in less then 6 hours... can't wait to air down and hit the sand with a few of the guys!

finally wired up my Hella 500 Black magics.... tomorrow i gotta aim them because they are literally in the trees right now. also changed all my switches to blue LED toggles so i never forget anything is on. ran into one issue with my under glow... for some reason any time i attached a ground to switch it blew the fuse for the power lead for the switch( but only whent he device was turned off if the power to the underglow was on it ran fine weird right?).... hmmm i will have to investigate... but i think i may know the problem. I'm still trying to figure out the HID issue.... i am going to pull the multimeter out again tomorrow and play around.. something must not be grounded correct or something. other than that i just cleaned some sand out after a beach trip with some of the LI guys yesterday... they picked on me cause i wasnt lifted... for the most part i kept up... only got stuck once. we were going up a sandy hill of really soft sand and i was plowing through it... and then over the walkie talkie i hear... "well john its time to get you stuck"... the truck infront of me stopped.. i lost all momentum and that was it... i was hung up. tryed reverse and that was a no go.. even 4-lo wouldnt do it... so i hadda pull out the recovery gear... it's all good though. next time i'll hopefully be lifted and i'll be pulling them out
