Ok guys other than chasing down some stray fitting leakages (more than one injector) I think I may have this beat.
1. New injector in, though I am not convinced that the old injector is actually bad. Infact I am almost 100% convinced it is fine and it was just a copper washer seating issue combined with a number of fittings that have worked loose over the last 50k.
2. Dealer had wanted to replace two injectors at a cost of $3,000. I am in about $500 after all the cores make it down.
3. Oregon Fuel Injection is a great source for injectors for these engines, they offer a refurb at $370 after you return the core, only beef is it didnt come with a new o-ring.
4. Green Diesel Engineering's tool loan program has been fabulous, I will be doing some business with this guy in the near future once I make sure everything is buttoned up.
