I did the B&M 11" by 7?" - Zip stripped it to the inside of the grill sub frame on the driver side. I took off the front bumper cover to get better access. Unbolt the subframe enough to slide it in.
And I cut the trans oil cooler rubber hose that is the
return (after it runs through the stock cooler) to the transmission to go to the b&m. That way your utilizing the b&m only when needed. When I bought mine it said there was a valve that opens when it reaches a certain temp. It's held up well.
Get Trans oil cooler specific hose - from Napa or... 3/8"??? times maybe 5'
You'll need some double male hose connectors and hose clamps for the splice side, x4, and the ports on the cooler, x2, = 6 total. Napa also has those- I like the ones that are
not worm clamps. The worms clamp style loosened up on me and I was pushing out oil.
You'll need a little more ATF+4.
Too bad I don't have a temp. gauge in my trans pan. or I might be able to tell you if it's worth it
