If i could find a used one I'd like to replace Instrument cluster on 2006 CRD with the one that has KM instead of miles - so need to find one in Canada. Do you guys think this is possible and anything to be aware? Any help is very appreciated.

its plug and play, you will need to get the odometer reprogrammed. with the correct mileage/kilometerage

immobilizer is not tied to the instrument cluster, only to the ECU.
