I know this post is old but i wanted to put something down anyway. I'm Rachael. I'm 20. I've been driving since i was 14 but started legally when i was 16 got my license at 17.
I had a few options for my first car: Honda Pilot, Toyota Sequoia, Dodge Nitro and Jeep Liberty. I looked into the 4dr JK's but they were too big and i didnt even think to look at the 2dr. If i did end up looking at the 2dr i prolly would have gotten it over the Libby. sorry

The Libby was my graduation present from HS. i didn't get the sky slider bc they told me at the stealership that it leaks when it rains. so i bought the one i have now.
My ex bf got me into off roading. He has a hooked up 2002 yellow TJ. It is beautiful. I've learned all of my experience off road from him and being a passenger in his Jeep when he went wheeling.

He is now the leader of the Long Island Urban Off-roaders.
I put in my lift myself with help from a friend.
I have a lot of connections in the Jeep world in many ways. One would be my ex, he knows a lot of ppl, i have a tire guy, rim guy, electrical guy, a few mechanics, a shop if i need to work in it, and awesome friends who are knowledgeable about cars and trucks.
I thought the name DoubleK was quite interesting due to the name of my Jeep, KK.
Ummm i usually never sleep, so feel free to PM me just to talk, and im down for any night wheeling trips.
My first flex was on my curb in my court, i felt really special at the time lol
My first 3 wheel was at Rausch Creek Off-road Park in PA, my truck was basically caught by my friends bc it was about to tip. I would have rolled my Jeep. My ex then came up to me and gave me a high-five for half flipping my Jeep, bc supposedly in the Jeep world its like a badass thing if you flip your Jeep.
The the second time i went on three was also at Rausch Creek, but this time i wanted to see it bc last time i was in the truck holding the brake an the door was too close to the ground to open it. So i got out and like 2 mins later my Jeep unlocked the brake and started rolling down the hill ON ITS OWN! I flipped out! I was in such a state of shock i couldn't move! so my friend opened the door while it was in motion and hopped in an slammed on the brake! OMG it was sooo embarrassing! but hey, i guess i didn't treat her right and this was payback. She has a mind of her own
i have never gotten a ticket let alone pulled over. I'm a pretty chill girl. I'm very outgoing. I know i still have a lot to learn about the off road world but i know quite a bit. so yea, that's me
