Mark, excellent work....Just wondering if you have thought of just doing a parts kit for people that have a press and mill and can do there own machining of the housing and just use your parts kit w/o sending anything to you(except money of course :D ). Thanks.

crawdad-480
Unclebob9 - 15 Sep
fnordmorph - 19 Sep
dthdcrd - 24sep
Buster - 24 Sep
kccrd - 24 sep

(remember you do not have to send a core first, it just speeds up production of your unit as it will be done with the very next batch)

If you are not on here and should be please let me know so I can get you in the right spot. Also, if you donated a core and I do not have you on the list let me know so I can give credit to you for your generosity. If you have sent me a core for remanufacturing also make sure it says (core sent) by your name. If not let me know so I can verify and update accordingly.

Remember I will ONLY add people to the list by PM so I can keep an accurate list easier and be fair to everyone.

CORE DONATED LIST:
RTstabler51 (donated for R&D, currently a rolling core used in production, THANKS!)
onthehunt (donated for R&D, currently a rolling core used in production, THANKS!)
LibertyCRD (donated for R&D, currently a rolling core used in production, THANKS!)
bugnout (core for reman, has xtra core to donate after replacement, THANKS!)
Europachris (core for reman, donated to squeeto, THANKS!)

*There are still some cores I haven't got on the list yet, I have received 3 more that are sitting at home in their boxes only 1 of which i know who it is from for sure. Please PM me with your username (and real name if you used that on your box for the return address) if you have recently sent me a core and I do not have you updated.

Also, when sending a core ore a donation, please include your username in your packages so I know who the name on the box matches to on the forum.

Thanks to everyone that donated cores!! This project wouldn't have happened if you were not so kind and it is VERY appreciated!!!

- Mark

The only issue is that all my freetime goes towards the the units for the current people on the list so in fairness you would be in line with them for the parts that need to be made.

The stud placement and deapth of hole is critical. Also the deck height is critical and match to the insert for the proper thermostat height to block off that port. The studs are also cut to specific lengths on a per unit basis to match the correct height to ensure they are not too short or too long where they would stick up and could possibly rub on a hose (there are a coupple of hoses that run right over the unit when installed).

So basically there is alot of measuring and give or take on the parts I make and sometimes they are trimmed, etc to match the specific unit. The units are cast (and not all from the same mold i think) so the pressed in part sometimes has different dimensions. It would be hard to just send parts and expect them to work out with out some final machining.

PM me and maybe we can figure out a way to work this.

Europachris (Chris) kindly donated this. Maybe onthehunt donated one for the group?

Thanks, lets straighten this out

Hmm maybe I got it mixed up? I could have sworn I got a message saying to take care of you with his core from onthehunt tho. I did get that message, but I think that was fater Europachris donated his so onthehunt went towards rolling core stock then.

Checked my notes to confirm and, acording to them I got first 4 cores from:

Allen M.
RTStabler51
onthehunt
Europachris - donated for squeeto
a 5th was mine after I installed a core i remaned

I will edit the above post for accuracy.

OK, I have 3 new boxes with cores in them from:

Cliff from MD. - Forenic
Shawn from KY - ?
William from IL - Bugnout

O and Shawn wins the prize for the cleanest engine! His thermostat was the least dirty. :ROTFL:

Please let me know your forum names so I can update the list. I left last names out for privacy.

Anywhere you can find one. Junkyard, or possibly another CRD owner you know that has replaced one. Perhaps from a dealership that has replaced one in a CRD.

Good luck!

Just had a new TS installed while I was out of country so I have the old one in a box, does it need to find it's way to you?

That would be very appreciated. The more cores we have to rotate through the bigger the batches I can do at once and help all of out CRD's get warmer. :D

I'll pay shipping.

PM sent.

Still waiting on OEM gaskets for unit to block to come in. Just wanted to update you all. I suspect because I ordered 10 at a time they are having to order them in before they can ship out all ten together to me. What a pain, hopefully soon guys.
