Hey all, the weather is starting to break and soon the leaves will be out and the trees will be in bloom. I for one would like to be there when it is happening.

I need your thought for this: I am thinking maybe late May, but would love some input. I am also thinking two days. The first would be our route from the Fall Krawl and a cook-out at the campground to finish up the day. The second would be the new trails that Mike and I have been playing on and have had made some good trail memories also. After the second day which will only take an hour our two we can all ride back into town and get lunch where we can depart from there to our homes.

"Your input will be what makes this into a great event"

Thanks,
Chris Sine

Well me being new to the club and to the Liberty, I have a suggestion...how about a picnic or a get together other than a Resturaunt/ Hooters type thing for us new peeps something with no obligation to go wheeling, like I said before I am new and never wheeled before and don't wanna go all gun ho if ya know what I mean, I know Jeeps are made for that but I wanna take it slow. :) Aliyah

Since April is pretty booked for me, late May would be a great time! The water temps still cool at the beach, so it's not as hard to pull myself away from the beach. ;-) Just tell me when and where and I'll be there (or at least try).

I like the idea of a big cookout or picnic too. Fun stuff! We could try out the recipes in the LOST cookbook! :-)

For those that did not have the chance to attend the Fall Krawl last year you I will let you know that the ride on the first day could almost be done in a Honda CRV  (just kidding) The ride has only one rough part so for those of you that is not into the trails or doing any damage to your Jeep this will be perfect. We had a cookout on top of the Mt. at flagpole knob at the last 2 rides. I would like to stop there again and do lunch (sandwhiches and such so that so much stuff does not need to be hauled up the mountain). And than we can do either a cookout or go into town and grab something to eat at the end of the ride. The second day will be only for the lifted and armoured. George Washington has some awesome sceinery to offer and this would be a good time to see it.

Sounds like a BLAST! Anything but Memorial Day weekend will probably work for me.

I'm most likely in...Last year, I went to the Fall Krawl as stock and had a blast, and did no damage. Then when we tried to go up Dictum Trail, I just parked the KJ and rode with someone else. Sitting in my living room is my Frankenlift that will be put on this weekend, and new GY MT/R's on monday. I can't hardly wait for this weekend to get here!!!

Won't be able to make the Saturday ride, but we can probably get there for dinner Saturday night, camping and ride Sunday... I can't wait til this class is over and I have my Saturdays back!

I'd be up for any weekend in May. I'd definitely be interested in the Saturday ride. The first ride I ever went on with MA Lost was to Flagpole Knob two years ago. The only member from that ride that I believe is still active in MA Lost is David (chefdab). Other than that, I think everyone has disappeared or moved on to another chapter.

A few more things added to the KJ since the Fall Krawl so count me in on this run! Chris, are you going to try and make it to Uwharri in the beginning of May with Carolina Lost?

GWNF in May sounds great. Sandy will probably be ready for another run by then, and we'll more than likely wheel the KJ. I vote for the Saturday/ Sunday agenda. As Chris posted this is a perfect first ride. Hey James, good to see you back on the board again!

May is open for me. My KJ is stock right now so this trip sounds good to me. I hope to get a lift installed this summer but not sure when yet.

Well, I just got finished reading through the posts and it looks as if the 13th & 14th is what most people are requesting. So, for me that sounds good. Since the 19th - 21st is the Nor-Easter at Paragon and Rausch. For those that cannot make it down to GWNF, I would like some lost support at this event.

O.K. gang I need a planning commitee, also need for you guys to hit up your local Jeep dealers and talk to the Sales Mgr. to get promo items for raffles.

I am also going to need some input from the past GWNF event attendents. I would like to know what you would keep and what you would do different. What we do this time I would like to be the standard for the next events.

Thanks,
Chris Sine
