Just decided to upload a few of my pics from Camp Jeep '05. These are of my Renegade before I made any mods to it. Heck, it even has the original tires on it...which partially explains why it couldn't make it up the mud embankment (other part is newbie off-road driver behind the wheel). Full sizes of these pics can be found at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2288506

Ah, good old stock tires. Looks like a beautiful area. Were there any other KJ's out?

Yeah, there were actually a number of KJs there. On this particular trail there were at least 5 others. I had the only Renny on the trail though. I was also one of the lucky KJs to end up with no body damage. One poor KJ lost a mirror to a tree and another cracked the rear bumper on a V shaped valley. The pics I have really don't do the trail justice (since during the difficult parts we were just trying to get through). This particular trail was ranked as an intermediate trail before it rained and I'd say it was well justified as intermediate.

The most nerve racking part of the trail was the uneven log bridge we had to cross with muddy tires. Here's a pic of the "bridge"

And one of a Wrangler crossing for perspective (sorry none of me crossing the bridge)

I was there for that. My KJ suffered minor body damage one of the trails. I slid into a tree and dented in my driver side door a bit. I had stock tires on and no skid plates. They said they were recomended but not required. I got quite a few scrapes on my underside because I didnt have them. Also what you said that it was an intermediate trail. Before it rained it was but after it rained it was much harder. First trail I did it hadnt rained yet and it was easy. 2nd one was after the rain and it was more challenging. On my run they were having so many problems with one muddy section that they didnt want me to attempt it in my KJ. They didnt want the last few to go but they really push me not to take the kj up it. Oh well, having just done our ocala run in fl I am much more confident in what it can handle. A lift and skids helps too.
