Had My Libby krown undercoated on Saturday and as soon as I got in it after the job was done the engine light was on. Code reader says P0299 (under boost?) could this be related?

Doubt it. Check your CAC hose at the bottom for splits. Easy to replace.

Yup classic evidence of boost hose failure.

Well Heading to the Dealer tomorrow, I felt around the hoses and couldn't really feel any tears (I guess that doesn't mean anything)
Either way I hope that they have parts instock so it'll be good to go tomorrow, (just recieved the scan tool and GDE tune in the mail and I'm really looking forward to trying it out)

If you can turn a screwdriver then you can remove the hoses and check for leaks. Like we said, just feeling them doesn't mean you'll be able to find a leak. Gotta remove them and remove the chinese finger trap to do a good visual inspection.

CAC hoses were ok. Took to dealer and they found that the vacum hoses to the turbo actuator had swelled (they blamed the years of undercoating), seems to be working fine now. Googled krown and I guess it's kind of a regular occurence for rubber products to swell with their undercoat. Something to be aware of for the future I guess.
