pull the leather out of a junkyard limited if you can find one in your area
It took me 2 years of searching wrecked liberty's, locally, with the same color code (DLD2) before one came up in Damascus, OR. It has DLD2 color (grey), leather, heated, power seats in really good [but dirty] condition. I got them late last week and installed them this weekend.
Here's my original cloth set:

Here's the new set:

This isn't my first rodeo. I've done this 4 times now on different vehicles, but only once before this had I done power/heated into a vehicle that never had that trim package to begin with. That went really well (F250 getting a transplant from a wrecked Excursion). And I blame that on making me underestimate this job. This is tough if you're considering it. It's not just ignition power and ground (unfortunately). And as far as I can tell there's no way you don't have a final stop at the dealership to recalibrate your passenger airbag ($105). Yeah, it's a safety error so an ODB2 won't simply clear it and it's an actually calibration process intended to represent a child sitting in that seat. Suuuck. OK, all that said, these seats are fricken sweet. Easy to clean leather, good adjustments (it's not a bmw, but not much is) and awesome heating - just in time for winter.
The key is to find them locally, b/c I would have bought them first thing 2 years ago except the freight charges a lot of time were 50%-100% the cost of the complete seat package.
Good luck.
