Im Having a Mod Day, Who wants to come?

Hey Guys its Rachael,

I have a lift and I'm DYING to put it in. I purchased it about a month and a half ago. I bought 2 new front struts and a 3.5" RK lift with two rear Skyjacker Nitro shocks.

I have never done this before, so if you know how to do it, I would LOVE it if you came, and if i haven't met you before this will be our first meet and greet! FYI you can just come for the company as well!

There will be chips and drinks for you guys to enjoy yourselves. We will be doing this at my house in Long Island (specifically Huntington). If the location changes I will put it up here ASAP.

If any of you own floor jacks with jack stands it would be AWESOME if you brought them along too!

I'd love to have the practice on your Liberty first before I put a JBA on mine :goink:

But sorry, Alaska is a bit far.

I am totally there. What day you plan on doing this? I'm installing my new CV sometime this week. Any time during the week I'm free. My schedule during the week is flexible. I have a bottle Jack and two Jack stands . If I can't make it yo can definitely borrow them. Let me know. You have my number. It's better to text/call me

And Alaska isn't THAT far, lol

Of course! But not from my backyard. I have to get a little bit of height first... 'bout eight feet.

At about sixteen feet I can see the Country of Africa :ROTFL:

Calgary was nice. I drove through it and then Banff and Jasper. The Yukon was an exercise in staying awake driving through 500 miles of fog though.

That would be totally awesome if you came :] Its going to be on a Saturday unfortunately. I get out of school at 4 on Friday an I'm waiting for a friend to get out at 6, so that will be too late to even start it. So I figured Saturday morning around 10 (Nov 6th). If no one is coming I don't think I'm going to do even though I've been putting it off for weeks.... i want as many ppl as possible. so Dean let me know...

why does everybody have to live soo darn far!!! if i had the money id pay for gas or a flight to come here but unfortunately i don't :[ so you guys better come to a Rausch Creek trip to make up for it!! so, so far i have 2 no's and 1 mayb. anyone else?

Don't know how I missed this post, guess cause I hang in the kj section more often.
I would love to help out but my work schedule sucks on my new film. I usually work nights on Saturday so it may be a possibility I could come by and help out before I have to go back into the city for work. I will have to see how it works out. I have helped jeepin it real with his kk lift so I do have some experience with it. If it was a Sunday I would be able to help longer, but I know how it is... You gotta do it when you can. I have two stands and a bottle jack as well as straps and sockets and tools. But again i would have to leave early due to work. I guess I will keep my eyes on this post to see what you decide. Looking forward to another lifted liberty on the isle!

Nice profile pic to start and nice to see another girl lifting a jeep yall are a rare breed. Wish i was closer to yall got a few jacks a few stands and access to an F-550 with a air compressor and welder and a ton of tools. But good luck and really want to see some shots when your finished.

Jeff it would be awesome if u stopped by we will prolly start it around 10-1030. What time do u haave to be back in the city by? bc i think from my house it takes about 45 mins. and KK's are awesome you should check their posts out more often :] and Nathan you should totally move to NY so we can all go wheeling together!!

Thanks, my friend was hold my truck up and caught it just before it tipped lol yea we are rare btu we are def bada*s! :p

Awesome! Do you have any tools? well i know of course if u own a jeep you gotta have tools but like do u have the tools for a lift? im limited to my tools i honestly don't think i have enough or even the ones we need.... and Jeff are you def coming?

official date is this Saturday the 6th at 10 am in Great Neck, Long Island, right off Northern Boulevard.

i also just got my skids in the mail and we will be installing those as well. Im going to go buy tools tomorrow for the skids and i have a spring compressor for the front strut (my friend is letting me borrow it) and an air compressor.

i gotta go out and buy a torque wrench and a ratchet. i some how have sockets but no ratchet... dont ask lol John what do u have?

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think you can use a spring compressor for the front struts..

you use an air compressor for the front struts and a spring compressor for the spring after putting the strut in...
