no offense to anyone in here. im fairly excited to see the new products even though im about positive i probably wont ever buy them. honestly though. alot of people talk about how they really want these and how they plan on getting them but in other threads i see people complaining about not having enough money for mods, or maybe they have a cheap spacer lift on their rig. just dont want people getting all excited for nothin. i sure could use a spare tire carrier though!

I know what you mean DirtyKK. I myself got a RK Lift why not pay extra for the real lift? Well, budget is def in my mind every time. There is a few options for lift. Eventually I will upgrade and do the lift from Jeepinbyal. I'm trying to get someone to do bumpers for the KK. I don't particularly need them but would like to have an option if I wanted them, specially the rear w tire carrier, if a company would have made them already I would just get them at some point, there is a rare opportunity of being able to maybe get someone to fab them and give us a discount if we do a group buy. Not everyone will want to buy it and budget will always be a concern but at least we would have an option for those interested. I'm not trying to sell you on it or anything, I know there will be probably a handful that will get them, but that is okay, I just hope I can contribute in the expansion of aftermarket parts for our KK's. + I have a set of MOABS that I bought used and it included the spare, and man it would look good on the back of the KK instead of underneath.

Side note: Jason did not call me to schedule, so I'll try him again probably tomorrow. Well, it has not been as fast as I thought, but I will continue communicate, the updates.

dirty you have to remember that some people do a budget lift to see what its like before going for the big lift... for instance i bought a rock kraawler... and i added a plate up front and isos in the back to reach my desired 3inch mark. why did i go rock krawler and not JBA... well partially was the money... but mostly because i didnt want to spend all the money on a JBA and realize i hate the lift, or that it was going to kill my MPG... will i in the future go for a JBA, yes, could i buy the JBA now, yes, but truthfully i'd radther have bumpers... the lift for me was just so i didnt drag in the sand so it serves my purpose... the steel bumpers will up my clearance and give me the desired look i want... remember that there may be more reasons out there.. some people may be able to foot the 1-2K price tag for a steel bumper and not more which would be the cost of the JBA 4"... some people just want steel bumpers so the money they had saved they may have been going to a JBA is now for bumpers... w.e. the reason i'm sure people have a reason... catch my dirft?

Quick update: The Jeep is now in the shop being measured. Dropped it on the 11th and will be picking it up on Tues or Wed, hopefully it would be enough time for him to take the measurements. I'll keep you guys posted.

Update:
My KK is back from Perkins Performance, Jason has taken measurements for the front and rear. We will produce the back 1st and then move to the front. He did measurements for both. The front created in AUTOCAD and the rear using some existing pieces and cardboard to get the idea. We talked about the tire carrier and for those who choose the carrier it will be behind the driver side but it will probably cover a good part of the rear, if you look at the images of this Grand Cherokee it will provide you with an idea ( http://www.perkinsperformance.com/projects.html ).
As for price tag:
The rear will come standard with 1" shackle mounts, swing out tire carrier, 2" receiver (rated for 4000lbs), black powdercoat and grade 8 hardware. Because this is for a niche market, and the complexity of the bumper, it will retail for $1095 with the spare tire carrier. Whether the stock spare will fit underneath is still to be determined; towing will not feasible if the spare is underneath do to decreased clearance for hitch to go into the receiver far enough without contacting the tire, but a recovery shackle in the receiver would be possible.
Options will include reverse light mounts (3.5"x5") for $60 and color powdercoat for $30. [see http://www.cardinalpaint.com]

For the Front:
The front will retail for $985 and include 1" shackle mounts, winch mount (up to 9500#), black powdercoat, and grade 8 hardware. The front will require the fender flares to be trimmed directly underneath the turn signals, and a plastic piece under the grille to be trimmed with a jigsaw or rotozip/dremel tool. Both of these bumpers are 3D CAD designed and engineered using de-scaled 3/16" steel and 1/4" steel mounts, and of course they come with our lifetime guarantee. Options include a grille guard for $65, or full wrap around brush-guard for $115.
***Price for the skidplate will be $45, or free with 10 orders.

Shipping:
Shipping per bumper to a commercial address: $185, or $315 for a set of front and rear.
Lead time will be 4-6 weeks from date of purchase.
Front bumper weight: 115lbs +/- 15lbs
Rear bumper weight: 135 +/- 10lbs

The email stated that the bumper WILL have shackle mounts, and if there is enough interest fog light holes as well. So come on people who wants one??
