I guess the code P1261 is for number 1 glow plug for I can only get a generic code without proprietary equipment. At 95K I will replace all four and they are hard to get. One at the dealer wants $54 so I passed on that one. RockAuto.com has three Bosch 80041 at $29.85 so I called and ask for four. They said that when those three are gone they not going to stock them anymore so i took them. I found another one at OxygenSensor.Net near me at 31.95 so I order that one also.

As a warning, get your glow plugs when they are available for cold weather is coming. I expect some others will have same problem. I didn't know until the temperature dropped to 45 degrees and I only got the code during cold start and goes away within five minutes of running.

:CAMPING: stay warm :ROTFL:

I got the glow plugs done and code is gone. I noticed better idle when cold and smoother take off. Number one glow plug wasn't working but I changed them all anyway. I'm thinking of doing a write up on it if others are interested. Much more than .5 hour for one or all glow plugs then the labor manual states.
