Oh and if Jayme never mentioned this (?) here I am (first up in the video) on my first ever attempt using air lockers climbing the "Wall" in the Rock Quarry @ Badlands. It became easier when I went back twice more.

But my first attempt is legendary...

Goodyear MT/R's? If you got 'em - smoke 'em!

i tried getting up that with teckman and callaway...i think rob might have been back at camp but i was slipping, if i was locked in the front...maybe it would have happened...looks great Jerry, i like the little ding in the grill...makes it USED ya know...and make sure you check the trxus tires when you get them...my brothers were flawed, as in one of the tires casing was taller than the others and the tread was short but they all were the same size...of course this caused the one tire to wear to the belt real quick (was hard to tell until the tire was lower tread)

I'm actually going to replace the grill. That ding happened while attempting to recover a stuck YJ at Cliffs.

I've watched MP Jeeper and a couple others in KJ's make that wall. And Tony's stock JK - that was AWESOME! :pepper:

I tried it the last time out there in July, but the surface was wet, I still have open diffs, and I need new tires. 3 strikes, you know.

:JEEPIN:

The wall was wet that morning as well. But that's not the only reason I had trouble on my first attempt. I was in 1st gear (auto trans), 4-low, with BOTH axles locked. :banghead:

The second time I went up, I did it the proper way, in Drive ( O.D. off ), 4-low with only the rear axle locked. It was like night & day - I cruised right up the wall with very little effort. Which is why I went back a third time since it was so easy!

You gotta remember one thing..... the wall at badlands....
It has claimed 5 KJs front diffs
Paul, Bogdan, Henry, and 2 others I do not remember - many KJs have done it without a problem countless times, but there is always that ONE time that something goes wrong and your front diff is gone. The drier, the better
