I Know the manual says 30,000 miles,(at least I think it does). Different mechanics have told me it's better to leave the tranny alone. What say ye all here? I'm at 39,000. I don't think it's been changed (bought at 34,000) thanks.

Well I cannot comen.t if you have a 45rfe, but for my 06 with a 42rle the manual states 60k is when you do the service. But I'm more of a 30k kind of guy. I am actually going to do one soon at 48kish as I'm worried about some hard shifting I have noticed.

we changed mine at 170,000....
Mistake.
I knew it was a mistake but i bought my Jeep at 150,000 and it had never been done
Then, i rusted a hole in my Tran Pan
SO, i ended spending 2k on a new trans about a month later.

Im sure youre fine

You need to at least change your filter every 30K.
