I love the tire changer, even if it can be a bear to use at times. I've used it a bunch. 7 tires were removed and 5 tires mounted that day alone. I've found it extremely handy when cleaning up steel rims that the local tire store has said the beads are too corroded to hold air. Haven't found a rim yet that I couldn't get to hold air again after a bit of work. Maybe not the most friendly to the rim's finish, but for wheeling rims it's fine.

Currently there are two balance options.
Dynamic bead balancing, which I use in Grumpy. Works pretty good for me, works even better after I added more weight to take into account the plugs or patches that are in my used tires. :banghead:

Weight balancing, shop just down the road charges $7 a wheel.

Anyone that wants to take the drive out to Elgin to use it is welcome to do so, just give me some notice.

By the way, I'm (we're) still alive.
Things are quiet when unemployed.
It's been over 8 months, now.
My brother just expended his 99 weeks.
Just trying to get by. :banghead: :juggle:

I will be selling 5 Moabs within the next month or two. I will not separate. Not sure how much I am going to ask for them? I will consider all offers.
(16x8, 5.4, 5"bs -- oem =2004 TJ Rubicon).

(oh and if you want the moabs, don't send two harleys to pick them up. you'll never see those two harleys again -- yeah.. let's go with I'm joking).

Well this is the garage so... I sold my '69 Camaro. (Steve, the guy who bought it lives near you in LG). Anyway, this guy has bugged me to sell the past 2-3 years and I finally gave in. I'll just say he is one of those guys who has more friggin' money than he knows what to do with, can't built crap himself so when he see's something he wants, he hounds the seller with offer's one cannot refuse in order to get whatever he wants. I'm a little sad, never thought I would sell my beloved SS.

On another note, I'd like to say much happier but it also comes with some depression... I was just informed yesterday that I am going to be a grandpa. My oldest daughter (who is married) is now expecting her first child. As for the depression, as one might imagine, I can't believe I am going to be a grandfather.

Think of the Camaro sale as more Jeep mods! ;) Early congrats on becoming a grandpa, too - Camaro sale can also equal spoiling of said grand-baby 8)

I believe so. This guy has quite a collection now. Matter of fact, he has bought two old Ford hot rods from guys I know.

Btw; Thanks for the congrats ladies. I'm really excited for my daughter and son-in-law.. It's just that; "I'm getting old" thing, hitting me again.

Trust me if I sent my buddy Bubba and his brother Mule Deer over they'd leave on their Harleys and the wheels as well. I don't think they have ever taken no for an answer, and let's go with I'm .....not joking

Yeah okay Tom. Trust me when I say IF your friends were allowed to leave, they'd probably come after YOU for sending them into a 1% outlaw club garage.

But on a more serious note, I am buying a motorcycle from these guys Hartz Bros Custom Cycles. If you click on the link, scroll down to the Triumph 650cc bobber with the red tank / chrome rear fender. The bike I am having built (construction is scheduled to begin in January), will look identical to that bike with a couple of minor changes. Those (changes) being a black solo seat and a mini speedo on the center of the handle bars (top of the tree).

I haven't had a bike in years but I've recently been bitten by the bug again. No I'm not a 1%er (never have been) but there is a saying that blood is thicker than water.
