Finally, we have liftoff on this project. Here's the details:

In order to accomplish this project, I will need to collect everyone's funds, and then place the order. I do not have the finances to bankroll this one.

Price: $45 including shipping ($85 for two as shipping can be combined)

The price to us is $35, plus $5 extra for shipping and plus $5 back to the club, just so everyone knows where the money is going.

You can pay via paypal to pixeldzn at comcast dot net. If you need to send a money order, please PM me for my address.

The deadline for getting in on the first batch will be Wednesday, March 22, 2006 12 PM Central time. If I do not get at least 10 orders by then, I will extend and give all you guys a kick in the butt. I am sure we will be ordering another batch after that as well, if they end up popular.

Here is a picture provided by Steve over at Billet Badges. He is shipping this one to me as we speak, and I will be painting it and tossing it on my KJ.

Let the ordering commence!

It is CNC machined billet aluminum. It mounts with provided adhesive strips just like any other badge on yur rig.

yup. That's the price to my door, but we need to to throw money back at the club for using it's name. Thats the only way any of this is possible, ya know? And then there is the $5 Priority mail to your door. I almost screwed myself on the Moab T-Shirts by not figuring enough in for shipping. Read - there was about $25 left after all was said and done.

so it's 35+5+5, not 35 including the shipping and club fee.

What are the dimensions of this badge?

You mentioned you will be painting yours, will they all be painted or will they be as shown in the pic?

They will be as shown in the pic. The billetbadges.com site has painting instructions if you'd like to read a tutorial.

The dimensions, to answer the other question, are 6" x 1.5"

Looks awesome, but I am out, too pricey for me right now due to the move and my rack going out.

Well all I can say is from the other thread everyone knew the expense of these things, so I hope we all didnt show all this interest for nothing. And have it end up like all the other specialty made items that never got produced because of "its too much $$$"

my .02
