Tire help for Non-JEEP vehicle?

I need some help. Our "other" car is a Toyota Camry Hybrid (I know, sort of the anti JEEP, but it saves us a TON of money on gas) is in need of tires. We have either 75,000 on the factories, or 35,000 on the second set this car has had, we're not sure, but the tires that are on there were on it when we bought it used with 41K.

But I digress, here is the dilemma:

When I bought the tires for the Libby, I was convinced I was going to purchase Pirelli P4's for the Camry when it came time. But after looking at reviews on many sites I'm way less sure of which tire I want. Price is within $30 for these three tires, so really a non-issue from that factor. So here goes, what tire would you choose, or do you have another option I'm missing:

Pirelli P4
Yokohama AVID TRZ
Bridgestone Turanza's (not sure which model is best, but I'm leaning towards the Turanza Serenities)

The Pirelli P6's are also sort of in the running, but I think I still like the P4's tread design better.
Sizes for all of these is 215-60-16, although it doesn't appear the P6's come in this size anyway based on the Pirelli portion of discount tire's website.

The big thing is, I want a high mileage tire that will get great mileage but still maintain traction in all condition's (obviously this is within reason, sometimes nothing will get you traction

). I want an all-season as I just don't have space for separate winter/ 3-season tires/wheels. Here in wisconsin, a "light snow" tire just doesn't cut it though.

SO, even though it is a NON-JEEP vehicle could I get some help? I've looked on other sites I'm on and I just trust the opinion's of my fellow JEEPer's more.

Not sure my input will help but here it goes...

In the past I have had all 3 of those manufacturers...however none of those exact tires you are thinking about. The Bridgestones I had were back before the whole Firestone blow out issues. I was honestly not impressed with them. They wore down fairly quickly but not so quick to were I would never buy them again...if that makes sense.

The Perelli's I have on my wife's Rav 4. They have been very good and I am impressed with them. They are wearing exceptionally well, she has roughly 20k miles on them and they still look new...except for the dirt from the construction on our street, lol. The only issue I have noticed is a tire squell when turning...not sure why they do that though and not all the time. Generally it is at lower speeds >15mph. Otherwise, definitely in the top 5 of tires for me.

I had some Yoko's on my KJ, the Geolander HTS, it was a OK tire. My gas mileage did seem to drop just a tad with them compared to the crappy Wranglers that were stock. Why, I think they are just a bit heavier. The wear of the Yoko's was very good. They lasted pretty good on the highway...I would never get them again for my KJ as the terrain in my area just eats them up. They are a bit of a soft tire but had good handling and never had any real issues in the rain. My Sister in Law has some on her Rav 4 and she says they are ok. Not great but a good over all tire.

If just based on the brand, I would go Perelli, hands down.

Hope that helps...and BTW no worries about a Jeep Owner having a Toyota. I am in the same boat but none of ours are hybrids.

I've had excellent performance out of dunlop's with that type of vehicle, SP60's and Signature come in that tire size and I wouldn't think twice about getting a set

My wife's Altima has that size on it. She's got the Continental ContiProContact tires...or something like that. ContiContact, something.. can't remember exactly. But in any case, they are extremely fuel efficient tires, and honestly they have been great in foul weather so far. We've got 36,000 miles on them and they are about half worn now. We should get 60K out of them which isn't bad for a factory tire.

LibertyCRD: Are the continental ContiProContacts the one's Continental bought from Nokian (the Hakipalitas (sp?)) I read somewhere that continental bought Nokian (swedish tire company) and are selling them in the US under there own name? If so, I might actually go continental, I wouldn't normally, not a big fan otherwise.

I have Bridgestone Turanzas on our 2001 Focus... nice riding tire, decent at best in snow (then again, i'm used to snow tires so it's hard to say, only driven these once or twice in snow then swapped on snow tires). but they are queit and seem to be wearing very well. or very little... you know what i mean.

as far as MPGs go with these tires, the focus has some EGR issues right now, so mileage is jacked up anyways.

overall, a good tire i'd say. but for a focus... i wouldnt spend the $ again, i'd get something cheaper. it's not a super quiet smooth car to begin with.

Honestly, I couldn't tell you. All I know about them is that they've been great tires so far, despite the appearance that they wouldn't be. My wife hasn't complained about them at all, and we get some wicked weather here during Winter. Rain, sleet, ice, snow...the whole nine yards. And in the Summer they are fuel efficient and they are quiet tires and lightweight too. For a car, I can't complain.

as long as you aren't looking at the continental 4x4contact's those things are JUNK, for reference they come OEM on CRV's, mine chunked, cracked and split within 15k/2-3yrs
