Sort of realizing that people think I've quit my fabricating from recent questions / comments, and from the fact that I get no PM's anymore for stuff. I just wanted to let you guys know what I'm working on and that I'm still ready to make the products linked in my signature.

I've got about 50 pairs of front strut shims and 20 radiator skids in stock, and I plan on doing those forever no matter what life brings, as they are basically just pack and ship items for me and require no further time investment.

Gas tank skids and roof rack parts are also usually in stock and ready to build. I'm also starting to work on my rear bumper again, after a pretty good layoff from it. Basically I have little to no time for development of new projects. New projects just eat up so much of my time and the ROI on that time is basically nothing. But I do still want a rear bumper for myself, so that one will get done this winter. As far as front bumpers, KK racks, skids, etc, I don't see much of that stuff getting worked on anytime in the near future.

My wife was laid off about 2 months ago, so I have been spending all of my extra time either with my kids or selling stuff on ebay to make ends meet. Its very tough for me to justify 20 hours drawing stuff basically for free when I can be making money to pay the heat bill on ebay if I spend time on that. Existing fabrications are different. Filling an order for a rack or a gas tank skid pays at least as good as ebay, so its worth it and I'm happy to do it. I just can't design new stuff until my wife is back at a good job.

I check PM's several times a day still so if you need anything or have any questions, just ask. And to the 3-4 people that are waiting to make deposits on rear bumpers this month: I'm still working on it and will let you know when I'm ready for that stage.

+1 on that. I will be bugging you soon for a radiator skid, and I'm still wanting a rear bumper when you're able to get them together.

This is good news! (Not the bit about your wife being laid off, for which my sympathies - I've been out of work for 18 months). When I do get back to work, and have caught up on the backlog of stuff that could do with being spent on (if that makes sense), I'll be looking to buy some of your stuff for my KJ.

Yeah ...as soon as I get the Holidays behind me I'll be looking into getting the radiator skid. Maybe the top plates too, Just wondering how those (3/8 in.) would work with a OME spring lift. Sorry to hear about the the wife's job situation.
