ordered 5 245/70/16 from tire rack. Goodyear Silent Armours.

Had a not so fun run in with the stockers on the trip up north on Wednesday.

nothing serious, just random bits where we started to slide all over the highway for no reason at all while everyone else was just truckin right along. Just glad no one was real close at those moments, I used all of both lanes.

Going to be rolling through the chicago/Rockford area on Int 90 to get up to Minn. between christmas and new years. Amy and I would love to meet up with anyone that will be around!! We should be rolling through Chicago area on the 26th prob. around lunch time and on the way back on the 30th. (depends on how much snowboarding we do

). On the 30th we will be through around dinner time or earlier we may stop and hang out around Chicago, I dont know ( seat of the pants kind of thing).

So if anyone has time and would like to meet for luch or something let me know

we make a stop around the dells at crystal mountain. And then we have season passes to a place called Power Ridge in Kimball Minn. Those passes also get us a discount to Spirit Mountain up in Duluth. ( we usually dont make it there untill March for the late season)

There maybe a new plan though her dad (mr. business guy) is trying to get us into the kalahari in the Dells. In which case we will prob. stay an extra night and just spend the day at Crystall Mountain instead of an evening.

Do you need to turn the old engine for core charge? Might be fun to throw the old one on an engine stand and try rebuilding.

rebuilt...and a guy is taking it from me to look it over and he will rebuild it. hes buying it from me for 400

2200 barely covers the parts for a full rebuild

long as the guy knows what he's doin.. it sounds like he's doin you a favor

hope he puts new chains on it etc, would save you quite a bit of future preventative

well.. the shop found the motor for that much, and then i got all the accesories already (belt, tensioner, water pump etc are all pretty new) so his install would net this to be about $4800...and i know, i can do it myself. but i cant give it a 3 year warranty

no you can't lol..

sounds like you're going about it the right way

will they still warranty it if you installed it? I know some will, some won't, I took my time stripped the inner fenders etc and my R&R went smooth as typical, but I had a cherry picker at the time too

and a gas furnace
