What have you done to your KK lately

had an emergency recovery run tonight. had to winch out my buddies 4 runner, got stuck myself immediately afterward getting him out. :lol:

Finally got rid of the forteras. 55 k was way too long but you cant say I didn't get my money out of them. Replaced with nitto terra grapplers 255/55-18 Lost about one mpg but a much more aggressive tire. Snow is on the way, so we'll see...

Nice to see someone actually stick a light bar on top! Do you have more pictures of the light bar? Did you have to modify it?

You beat me to it! Ive been planning on doing that exact same grill once Im on christmas break. It looks really nice though. At least I know it will look good before I do mine.

Haven't gotten them mounted yet, but have some new shoes sitting at home, hopeuflly can get them done on Tuesday before I head to Canada for work for a week and a half.

if I have more photos, I did not change much just open a couple holes and running wires for the upholstery, the headlights are almost as Dealership

my mechanic that is doing my regear was out of town for the week but he got back yesterday and i set up an appointment to fix my leaking rear pinion and drop off the new front gears so he can finish that finally. hopefully he gets the diff done soon and i can find some time during the week so i can reinstall the front diff. then i can go wheeling next weekend! i got a few new things i should take a pics of soon.

reinstalled inner fender flares a la zip tie. been quite some time without them ever since i ripped the one off. :-)r

got my pinion leak fixed. new yoke and driveshaft replaced. i replaced the yoke with one that is not a flange, got an adapter for the tcase and got a driveshaft to work with it all. no vibrations but best of all i have no driveshaft/tank skid contact AND the axle is centered instead of being towards one side to prevent the issue. now to see how much bump stop i can take out before getting tire rub so i can get some flex back.

i know the diff is wet and dirty still. pic was taken before cleaning.

When to the shop and got a few quotes. One to paint my grille. Another to have some hellas put on my bumper and wire them to my headlights. Ordered some AT2s. They should be on by monday at the lastest. Itll be so nice not to have to go through winter with the POS stockers. Its really starting to come together. Ive been thinking about a thrush muffler, just because its cheap and I dont have anymore money after the tires and all.

Yesterday: Went out and enjoyed the beautiful weather (1.5" of the fluffy stuff). Yanked 3 cars and helped be an anchor point for a semi. Even got commended by the police for clearing the intersection for them. :wink:

Also saw this yesterday: :grim:

Today: Installed new air filter, bought new plugs. Now just to wait for a day that isn't bittery cold and windy.

Right this minute: Wishing I had some nifty storage solution for the cargo area, since I sold the aero box and basket off the roof.
