Does the front or differentials on the 2006 CRD require any limited slip additives? According to the Amsoil site, they may or may not, I could not find a tag on the rear differential to verify this?

Call your dealership with the last 8 or 9 digits of your VIN. They can tell you if you have the rear Trac-Lok axle. If you do, yes it does require limited slip additive.

The front axle does not require any since no limited slips were available for the front end.

I found out by experience that synthetic fluid does NOT work better in the diffs. When I put the cheapest dino oil available into my rear diff, it became butter smooth and much happier.

I heard the 06s were all the same, so do I need the additive or not?

If you have a trac-loc on an 05, then yes you need the additive in the rear.
