my roommate has a new SS Camaro. no way I would want to drive that in the snow. the guy on the bike is a true enthusiast!

wish it would snow in florida, my jeep isnt going to see any of it this year. :(

Tittiez, can ya do me a quick favor?

Take a measurement, from your roof, to the bottom, and the top of the side rail? and another, from the roof, to the bottom of whatever cross-bar you're using?

I need to see how high they are, to know what I can fit on them over top of the skyslider.

Today: Installed new air filter, bought new plugs. Now just to wait for a day that isn't bittery cold and windy.

Right this minute: Wishing I had some nifty storage solution for the cargo area, since I sold the aero box and basket off the roof.

Thats what im talkin about! Jeep - 1, Snow - 0 :]

I went wheeling for the first time in 6 weeks! which is kind of a big deal because i go almost every weekend. got some new trail bruises on my bumpers, just missing a little paint now. took a few small grooves out of my rim, tire was ok. another tire is leaking air from the bead, something must have something wedged in there. got stuck a couple times, buddy got stuck a couple times. tow straps worked once, winches worked for the rest, except my buddies winch is kinda spotty.

Also have a new problem to deal with. It honestly never ends. :banghead:

My interior lights are staying on and will not shut off. Happened as I was climbing a hill. Had to get out to see if I could make it over the other side safely. Tried opening my door but there was a dirt wall and couldnt open it far enough so shut it and climbed out the window. Got back in and noticed the lights were on. Tried opening and closing all the doors and locking it but they just seem to stay on. Dunno if its a coincidence or not yet.

EDIT: I type this now and realized I didnt check one of the most simple things! Isnt there a dimmer/light switch for the interior lights on the steering column. Ill report back... :ROTFL:

EDIT 2: Yep, I must have gone full retard today. :dizzy:

Haha I was about to suggest checking that. My sister came home one day and was complaining about how her lights wouldnt turn off in the car. Say "problem". Everyone has there moments.

That sounds like a blast. I just wish there was a trail close to me. I think the closest is Pine Barrens. Anyways, Im up on this HUGE steep hill. Getting down it will be interesting, to say the least.

The traction control doesnt keep you from doing donuts? I might just go for a winter cruise tomorrow too. It sounds like a nice idea. Maybe ill open the Skyslider and turn up the heat too!? :jester:
Theres probably some place closer to me but I have no idea how to find any. What a noob... :ROTFL:

When its closed and your going 55+ its like your driving with your head out the window. I cant even have a conversation with the person in the passenger seat. I end up turning up the music to drown it out. Its nice during the summer and spring, but I would rather have regular sunroof.

We we supposed to get some, but then the Low Pressure decided to b*tch out and head north east of here. What a f***ing rip off! Now it's just sprinkling the stuff.

It just started here. I cant tell if its snowing really hard or if its just really windy, or maybe both.

Either way, I wont be enjoying it. I have to drive my sister to the mall.... :grim:

BTW FDez, I think we all know how you feel. The wranglers are garbage and probably the worst tire in the snow. I just switch to some AT2s like 2 weeks ago or something so Im PUMPED.
