I didnt take any pictures because my camera battery is dead so I hope what I type makes sense. :) I did this on the front left of a 2007 Jeep Liberty and I take ZERO responsibility in you doing yours and messing something up.

Tools Needed:
Jack and Stands
Lug Nut wrench
Socket Set
12MM socket
21MM socket
Breaker bar
Allen Keys
Tiny flat head screw driver

Parts Needed:
ABS sensor Connector kit - #5183448AA (Thats what i was told by the jeep tech, but double check it.)

Begin:
1) Jack up the vehicle and place the jack stands in the correct corners to support the vehicle.
2) Remove the wheel

Brakes:
1) If you look at the back of the break caliper you will see two 12MM bolts holding the caliper in place. Remove those and slide the caliper off. Place the caliper in a safe place, YOU DO NOT WANT IT HANGING FROM THE BRAKE LINES!!! You will now be left with the caliper mounting bracket still on the rotor.
2) To remove the bracket you need a 21MM socket and a breaker bar. Go slow and apply steady pressure to the bolts. They are tight so be careful not to strip them. Once off this will leave you with just the rotor left.
3) To remove the rotor you just pull. If it doesn't come off get a rubber mallet and hit the back a few times. Generally there is rust on the hub area and the rotor will not just slide right off. Use this as an opportunity to clean the area of any rust to make the next time easier and for good peace of mind.

Now that you have everything off this opens up the wires that you need to get too.

Replacement of the sensor:
If you look you will see a wire that goes from the top of the fender well down and around the area and mounts to the front of the hub/axle area. Take note of how its threaded through the system because you are going to want to match that
1) Under the hood you will look down between the battery and fuse box. you will see a connector. This is where the new kit will plug into, and to get the old one out you need the hands of a 5 year old. On one end of the connector clip you will see a red bar thingy. Pull that till you hear a click, this allows you to press the tab and pull the connector apart.
2) Thread the wires from the engine bay back through the fender lining and into the fender well.
3) Unclick all the tabs that hold the sensor wire in place.

There are two connection points, one just holds the wire in place, and the other if the actual sensor area.

4) To remove the first attachment point use a phillips head screw driver and push gently towards the vehicle. This will slide the tab out and free up that section.
5) To remove the sensor remove the allen bolt then with your small flat head screw driver. Slide the head of it under the sensor and gently wiggle it up. This will remove the sensor.

Everything should now be disconnected.

Reinstall:

1) Install the sensor and replace the hex bolt
2) Connect the first attachment point by sliding the connector thingy back in place.
3) Re-clip all of the brackets to the lines. This is the area where you want to follow the previous path how it was from the factory.
4) Run it back into the engine compartment and replug it back in.
5) Slide the rotor back on.
6) Attach the brake mounting bracket and tighten down the 21MM bolts in the back
7) Slide the Caliper back on and tighten the 12MM bolts on the back
8) Replace wheel and tighten the lugs down.
9) Lower vehicle
10) Start vehicle and hit the brakes

DONE! Now the lights might still be on, mine were, take it for a drive around the block. I think the sensor needs to get info from the wheel and send it back to the ECU in order for it to shut off. The lights are off and now you will have ABS, Traction Control, and Stability Control.

I hope that helps someone and over all the fix was very easy. It took me about 1.5 hours to do completely.

Questions? Ask

Be very careful on the sensor removal from the hub, - I just tried to replace mine this weekend - and it is now in 2 pieces - the sensor is rusted / stuck in the hub :( and the mounting flange with wire has been thrown across the garage :)
