Great! No issues at all. Since the 16X8 were installed everything handles like a dream!

They have been great, The Koni's are great as well. The Jeep is not here so I cannot get you the part numbers from the Koni's.

KONI

front 8240-1201SPX
rear 8240 1202SPX

If you are planning on doing some heavy offroading I would advise you to not use the KONI rear shocks. They were designed for stock spring lenght and with your future lift they are a bit short.

If you want KONI front and rear I would get the '99 Dodge Durango/Dakota shocks:

KONI 30 1674

Tony,
thank you, as you know it's the usual problem of what is available here in UK/Europe. I will see what I can find.

Jins had some engine trouble and is waiting on a new VM to come over from Italy. So there are no updates since he isn't driving.

 :( guess I missed that post with the engine problems....
Well i have found a German Jeep forum and some members have them fitted to the KJ, I am waiting to see if I get a replay back and see what they say about them. Found on KJ Italy one member using them but he hasn't connected with the forum in over six months, so no up dated from there....Might go hunting on a French Jeep forum and see if anyone has a better info if i don't have much luck with the German Jeep forum.

Tks,

Fil.

Hi all,
I just got a set of H&R installed yesterday on my libby and must say it's a completely different car! I didn't expect that it would make such a big difference.
The 40mm lift is realistic and the cars front and rear is leveled.
The installation took approx. 4 hours - with lunch :-)
Rear was very easy, front required dis-assembly of battery and air filter with housing etc., but nothing major.
I have Yokohama Geolandar AT-S 265/70/16 on 16x7.5 rims and now the car looks like it should have looked from factory - in my opinion. The front required some trimming to fit the wheels in, but it was worth it.

Not sure if this is gonna work, but try the link to my gallery. The first and last pics are after lift, other ones are before lift but already with the yoko tyres.

Thanks for posting the picture for me!

I'm also thinking of getting additional 1 inch lift kit to get to 2 and 1/2 inch altogether. Would anyone have any suggestion or experience with such kit for my libby? (Preferably someone who is ready to ship this to Europe).

Thanks!

Get some topplates from JBA, do a Clevis lift, add 4 isolators in the back. Get longer rear shocks.

Yes I understand that I will loose MPG, you want to play you have to pay. You can gain some of this back by using lightweight wheels, you also loose braking distance as well, you cause more wear and tear on many mechanical parts in suspension and drivetrain. I also have to look at gear ratios as well. When all is said and done my limit is $5000 but I would rather do it for around $2500 and it is only and idea running through my head right now. I saw a Isuzu VX the other day with a nice set up of 12.50 or 13.50 on it and really liked the look of it.

BTW I finally met this guy at a carshow a few times now. I like the way it sits and had no idea it came with Recaro leather seats from the factory.

Hi,
Now that your CRD is up and running, how's it running now?! still happy with your set upwith H&R + Bilstein? did you get some miles under it and some offroad? I personally whet in the end with OME for CRD and now sit at 22 in all round ( waiting to finally manage to order some JBA if I get a final price from them!!)
