yesterday i was driving from work and i noticed some weir play/clunking when the car was swaying from side to side a bit over snow and during turns. today it got worse, so i got under the car and with the help of my brother i pinpointed the thing that makes the noise. it is a metal bushing that connects that bar that goes along the rear axle. any idea what that bar is called?
its not the sway bar, thit is that thick square one.
and here is the bushing. any1 knows what its called or what the pn is?

That is your trackbar. It keeps the rear axle from moving side to side and from your description of "wierd play" I wouldn't drive it much until you get that part replaced. In the tech section there is a full factory parts breakdown where I'm sure you'll find it with some patience. You could try calling a dealership with a part description and they will look it up for you. Good luck.

thank you, i called the dealer and scheduled an apt for tomorrow. i asked them to replace bushings on both sides of the trackbar. since the car is under warranty im gonna let the dealer worry about everything:)
