Anyone running a rustys air tube? I've been looking at that and running a Amsoil Universal air filter. I know one or two people that are but can't remember who.

Also can you get them somewhere other then rustys? Shipping was close to $20.00 for a part that can fit in a $10.00 USPS flat rate box.

I ran one back in 04 early 05
if you like sucking in lots of hot air then it works I guess
I get much better mileage and smoother running with an Amsoil filter in the stock box and a tube running to the grill

Thanks Mudd, I'm already running the amsoil filter in my stock box. What did you run for the extra air from the grill? Any noticeable change?

I have the airtube with a long K&N filter, been very happy with it for many years now. Increase my mpg by 1 and better throttle response. Would never go back to the stock box, unless you plan on doing deep water then get a snork.
