Good job. I'd like to see a picture from further back. Maybe with the whole Libby in the pic. Get a better idea of how it looks on there.

I don't think it looks bad. I just think, at stock height it looks sort of out of place. Once you lift it and it starts looking like an off road beast, it will gel. :JEEPIN:

So 32s and regearing or are you ignoring that part    :ROTFL: :goink:
After my trip from Toledo to The Badlands and back and never being able to use Overdrive I couldn't wait to swap

Well some run 32s with stock gearing
but honestly the day I installed the 32s and took off down the road
I hit about 55-60 and all it did was kick back and forth would shift down for 250-300 feet and then back to OD, hated it. I was ready to take the tires back really. But I also knew I had a front diff with 4.10s laying in the garage and rears bought. If it would not of been for that I would of went back to 265-70s.
Its Ok ( almost) when you have it at about 75-80, under that shift back and forth.
Like I said the last trip to The Badlands and you know the roads up here down through the Fort etc. , mostly all flat but ran with the OD off all of the time.
When I went down home 250 plus miles, never could use OD :banghead:
Now I can run from here south to Lima area and it will shift down maybe once on the Interstate, more power/ better mileage and its back to being fun to drive.
If you're not regearing I would not go bigger like 32s, plus the extra cutting involved with stock bumpers
But you could be cool, regear, new ARB bumper, 32s :ROTFL:

Just got my ARB delivered here was actually surprised at the color. It seems darker than all the ads and pics than I anticipated. The 02 Sport in the pic is clearly silver - I think the ARB powdercoat is really slick and should break up the gray plastic nicely. Would probably do just as well on a black KJ imho.

I actually like the hood mount idea but wonder if even more stuff could be put there like a couple of flame throwers  :ROTFL: ? I was thinking a canoe rack extension off the top of the fender flush with the hood...

so the flame throwers were something i thought about but decided against it when i couldnt figure out where to put the propane tank ... so i ordered some grenade launchers instead :D

as for your ARB ... think you could post a pic so i can see the color better ?

You know you are allowed to paint an ARB any color you want after you buy it.
Even Line-X it

How are the lights in regards to glare coming off of the hood at night?

so updates ... finished the lift and added the 32's ... heres the pics

Image
Image

as far as the regearing goes ... my OD works fine ... not gonna regear

as far as glare from the lights off the hood for the drivers vision ... no glare to speak of
though in these photos you wouldnt think so but i used phones camera so lights in darkness is hard to capture

Image
Image

still looking forward to adding the stock mopar lightbar to the roof and the ARB bullbar should help with the rubbing the tires cause ... wanna do that soon so i dont give in to trimming ... only rubs on the front when i turn around but nothing rubs down the road or on normal 90 degree turns ...

please continue to reply to this post ... i like yals opinions

if anyone knows what i need to do to reprogram the tire pressure sensors so my light isnt on in the dash now that i have 32's id love to get that fixed ... but how ?

hope yal like ... keep posting

Oh another thing with the 32s and not regearing
your engine now runs hotter
mine dropped back down an average of 15-19 degrees after regearing
I know you think I'm full of it
but its worth it

Sorry man, I just don't get it. Other than the cops pulling you over to let you know you left something on the hood, it would be much better served elsewhere on or in the Jeep. Not to mention the damage you will do to your hood when you drop it. I would never put a high lift on the outside for fear of someone borrowing it for good. Just my :2cents:

I think it looks good. I think it will look really mean when if you put on the lightbar like you said, a rack up top, maybe a newer front/rear bumpers. I say right on man, I wouldn't do it to my Jeep but that doesn't mean it is not for you.
