they look good, im sure the extra light is great, but that deff kill your departure angle

Yeah i know, they only hang down about .25" below the receiver, so its not that bad. Sometime way down the road i'll put some in the bumper. I cant bring myself to go cutting holes yet. :D

i honestly dont think it matters which one is over the other but if the tranny is over the engine there would be a lip to possibly catch on and fold the skid back. the tranny skid does have two prongs that slide into the engine skid though. i couldnt tell you how mine is unless i went outside and looked. unfortunately im too lazy.

Seeing this, I just went and took the below quick photos of my skid plates that came factory installed. For what its worth (and may not really matter), my skids came with the engine skid installed overlapping the transmission skid below it (so tranny skid installed first, then engine skid):

And the transfer case skid plate installation unrelated to transmission skid plate as you can see here:

Hope this helps :)

Did some things over the weekend. After cleaning it, I ebadged the tailgate by removing the "limited" and "3.7" badges. Plan to remove the "Jeep" also but didn't have time. I might even pull it from the hood too. I also spray-tinted & cleared the front corner marker lamps and cleared my already spray-tinted 3rd brake lamp. Now I gotta talk to my tint guy about doing the tails with the film for a light and glossy look.

I also had a Flo-Pro muffler installed on Sat morning. Same free-flowing, chambered design as the Flowmaster everyone uses but this is a little quieter and there is zero drone at any RPM/speed. I had my wife drive away from me with her foot nailed to the floor and at high RPM, it sounds wicked-good. I may start a separate thread on this w/video/sound.

Made my own clear front bulbs last night out of a set of 3157 Silverstars but I think I'm going to go back to the standard 3757 for amber-blinker legality reasons. Anyone got any thoughts, ideas, or advice on that?

Sorry about the crappy pics but it's all I have of the lights and debadge right now.

With you living in Denver, IDK how DPD is going to like your clears. I'll go through my history and see if I can find the web site that has most of colorado's vehicle laws on it....
