just to add it to this thread, I bought one. :D

07, 6spd, 4x4, 3.7L, added the hitch and wiring while still on the dealer's lot. towed like a champ. if it weren't for the HORRID u-haul tow dolley I wouldn't have really noticed the car back there. I was in 6th/65 for 95% of the time and only had to stick it in 5th/55mph for a single hill, and that's because I stopped at the rest stop near the bottom of said hill and just couldn't get a big enough head of steam without pounding on it harder than I wanted to at that particular moment. for those that are curious it was the hill on rt. 78 going east after the weigh stations and mile post 7. I even left it in cruise control alot of times. :D

Had no problem going or stopping but the rear springs were about out of travel.

The max that I towed was a 875 pound trailer with one 800 pound ATV on it. The V6 got around good for it being what it is.

Hey Buddy relax and, tow up to 5000 lbs. as long as you are equipped with a trans cooler(most likely). I tow a camping trailer 4980 lbs+ all over Texas and, have the 3.7 but, I have done a few things to enable that. Full synthetic oils in the drivetrain, a K&N kit and, Cherry Bomb Cat-back exhaust + a stage 2 Jet chip in my 07 KJ 4x4. My rear shocks are coilover type for a 1994 Chevy Astro Van 4x4 available at any Oreilly's. They really help to level things out. Hope this helps. :)

my only suggestion if you ever do it again, either roll the car back a bit on the trailer (granted the picture is at a bad angle but it looks like you got a foot or 2) or load it on backwards.

the car was on the other side of a ditch. I backed the trailer into the ditch for ez loading of a dead car. the only reason its not back further is because the ramps flip over onto the deck of the trailer and the way the braces were that was as far back as we could get it.

Ha. What a coincidence. I am also the owner of a Liberty and Dodge Shadow. :p

However sadly I'm only part owner as my uncle has not paid me entirely for it. Still titled in my name though. ;)

You'll be fine, I've used mine to pull several trailer loads of 1.5 yards of sand, then 1.5yards of gravel and even another vehicle (as recovery). Its a truck, treat it like one.

BTW, I'm rated at the 5,000lb mark since I have the factory tow package which includes additional cooling elements.
