In a post made some time ago one of our members (forgot who) said that NAPA axles were the correct length while other places were not. So I went to looking at web sites. Some didn't list the length, some did. Here are three that listed the length:

NAPA...................23 5/8"
Auto Zone............22 3/4"
O'Reilly.................22.8"

All listed it as "compressed length". NAPA and Auto Zone both state they are "remaned".

1. If they are both remaned, why are they different lengths?

2. What is the correct length?

That is all good and dandy but it doesn't answer the questions.

Could be. But, if someone gave the correct length without guessing or just repeating what others have said, that would answer the questions.
