Ok. Im sitting at ~20.75 all around with shocks and springs only. Research states that 23.0 is the absolute max.

I'm looking at long tall texans 1 - 1.5 inch spring spacer for the back. I think thats a good move.

For the front I'm thinking 1 or 2 strut top plates and a few conduit nuts for another 1 to 1.5? Is this possible? What can I expect form a conduit clevis lift? I understand there is a bit of do then measure but Im sure some careful planning can save me some work. Other ideas are always welcome.

whatever you put into the clevis or top spacer in the front, nets 2x the thickness of the spacer in terms of lift

ie: 3 conduit nuts = 3/8" thickness = 6/8ths or 3/4" of lift

1/4" top plate = 1/2" and 3/8 top plate = 3/4"

Go with the 3/8" top plate and 1 or 2 conduits, or 1/4" top plate and 3 conduits. If you use the 3/8" top plate you'll have a bit more control later over adding small increments of lift for leveling purposes

Two follow up questions...

1.) How far should I try to go?

Im thinking 1.5 more would be easy. 1 top plate(3/8), 3 conduit nuts.

2.) Who has these 3/8 inch strut spacers? I know JBA has the 1/4 inchers....

boiler (chip) has them in 3/8th

aim for level with the rear which is going to be 22.25-22.5 ish?

Bump stops and brake line relocation is necessary, yes?

just search brake line should net you some results, I didn't have to fiddle with brake lines on mine due to the year of it, so I didn't retain that information in my brain housing unit sorry

flat stock works well, drop the brake line bracket down, take a piece of flat stock 3 inches long, 2 holes , check size I for get what size I use, and bolt it in

I felt up there and the tubes connected to it are metal, will they move with it or do they need to be persuaded in a new direction?

Final Bump stop question, ARB says no bumpstops with the kit that gave me the first 2, if I lift it 1.5 would it be a safe assumption that I want 1.5 inches of bump stopage?

ARB has always stated that if using their springs and shocks you do not need bumpstops as they are built in to the shock itself. I have also been told by a ARBUSA employee that if you add anything to the front such as clevis, top plate etc then all of that goes out the window since you are using their product incorrectly. So.....I see front bumpstops as a cheap insurance policy.
Yes the rear brake line is connected with a 10 mm bolt I think it is, just have to remove it and make a bracket, real simple to do

He is at 23' i am at 22.75' but i am in a CRD and i just tore my first CV booton the drivers side everyone told me the shorter passenger side shaft would be the first to go. :banghead:

Hmmmmmmm. I will side with my original plans of 20.75 + another 1.5 giving me a hopeful total of 22.25.

Im thinking Ill save all out height for when its paid off :roll:

Dang that is tall. What do you do with the extension ladder after getting in?

My 5 2' gf has no troubles getting in and out she just grabs the handle and pulls herself up in there while stepping on the slider. But most people who look at it say it ain't that tall till they go to get in and then they are really surprised. :twisted:

I think he was referring to your kj's height of 23' (feet) not 23" (inches)... :lol:
