I thought about ordering my CB parts too, but didn't want to risk not getting it for Saturday, plus, I have no money.

OK boys and girl, here is a basic list of things to bring for the slider party.

Sliders! after all this is a slider party
Drills, I have 1 electrical drill and 2 battery powered black and decka drills.
Drill bits, in case any of them break. 1/8” and 5/16” are the sizes needed.
The black and decka ones I have will just tickle the frame on the kj.. So if you have a buff one bring it a long.
Creepers, I have 2, one I got yesterday and another is broken but still can be used.
(I will not be held responsible nor liable for any asphalt rash on your butt for using the broken creeper :jester: .)
A ratchet set, I have one but we should have more. A lot of things to tighten.
A plastic table for the tools or else we'll be lifting things up and putting them down all day long.
An extension cord, I have a 100 fter one but a second can be a 50'er

A simpler list with out all the garbage I wrote.
Sliders
Drills
Drill bits
creepers
ratchet set
plastic table
extension cord

If you guys and gals think of anything else just post it down.

Sweet list Jeff.

That impact gun is going to help a looot.
When you get here one of us can give you a hand with the cable and the bracket. Shouldn't take more the 15 minutes.

I also forgot to add some jacks to help lift these bad boys up and hold them in place for marking and installing. I'll be stopping by lowes tomorrow to pick up some extra paint for the sliders also because their going to get a little scratched up with the installation.

I want to get the spray on step paint that John talked about a while back to spray on the part where peeps will be using to get in the KJ.

John whats it called and where can I pick that up? homedepot, lowers, auto parts store?
Hook a brotha up, son!

Some tips. . . . Not hard at all to drill into the chasis rails with good set of bits just start small and work up to the required size, if you dont start small there is no way you are get through it and the bit will just get hung up. Dont use the drill in hammer setting as u may crack bits and theres just no need for it. Also only use the impact to get the chasis bolts started because if you torque it down with the impact it is pretty easy to strip em since the metal isnt all that thick.

Also start by bolting to the pinch weld first because then u will b able to see how things will line up on the chasis rail.

Hey Luigi,
Thanks for the tips, why don't you stop talking trash, tell the old lady to let you off your leach and stop by! :jester:

Anyways just got the undercarriage of the KJ power washed, drills are being charged right now, and I have to blow the driveway AGAIN because this storm decided to rake all the leafs and spread it on the driveway.. :furious:

All the homies got the PM with the address?

This is going to be an all day thing so if you want you can stop by the afternoon.

Well my blower decided to crap the spark plug out so I didn't get a chance to blow the drive way. Hopefully it will get windy during the night and the leafs will be blown to the next door neighbors driveway..

All who are coming be ready for a text message with the secret word..
