r36 would be the viscous heater relay, im looking to pull it for improved mpgs, or at least to see if it improves mpgs. Dont mind the cold i never use the heat unless its reallly cold anyway. And also fuse 38(red 10 amp) would be the one to turn ABS off right? I assume this would turn off the rear electronic locker crap this thing has. Its irritating because it wears the rear brakes out like crazy, and now they squeek and it pisses me off  . Thanks!

the thing is, i never notice when the viscous is on or off.. so that ones hard for me to tell. The ABS one i'll try eventually. The viscous relay out shouldnt give me a check engine light or anything would it?

I pulled the R36 viscous heater relay about 3 weeks ago and no codes. The relay was in there too tight to pull with fingers so I wound up lightly grasping it with pliers and it came out just fine with a bit of wiggling and an upward pull. I did put a bit of electrical tape in the bottom the relay recess to keep dust off the contacts. Cannot report on mileage yet but the EVIC, which has been more accurate after a recent update to the GDE ECO tune, reports a mpg gain if one believes the EVIC.

You can pop the hood and see if the viscous heater is running.
