Wheel spacers

Anyone ever try this type of spacer? I want to go a little wider in stance but dont want to buy new wheels or get the spidertrax ones because 1.25" is the smallest you can go without cutting the oe studs.
Anyone know how much thread I need left to be safe? The kk has 1" of thread on the oe studs. Safety is my main concern in doing this, and i'm not sure that 7/32" wider (5.6 mm) is worth risking anything. Thought i would ask for opinions from those who know.

i wouldnt use those unless you need to change your offset ever so slightly to reduce rubbing. they are not hubcentric which could cause not balancing issues and you are taking away from the amount of threads you have holding it on. the small amount of width that you will get from these will go unnoticed. ive had a set of these before on an old malibu back in high school that had poorly offset rims to keep the tires from rubbing. your wasting your time and money with those if all you want is width.

But, what if I just need to just barely get off my sway bar? Any thoughts on the safety of these?

Not safe to use,pretty much instant fail if you have any type of inspections in your state,and almost every single shop will not touch your wheels with those slip on spacers installed.It's a 22.8 million dollar gamble,the starting rate for a wheel-off or tire failure if someone get's killed.
