I hope I'm not the only one this has happened to, but yesterday I walked right into the open rear window while I was loading up my jeep.

Embarrassing, infuriating, and painful! I wanted to rip that thing off its hinges!

Does anyone know of a mod that can be done- aftermarket struts or something- that wil make the window raise up higher?

I'm 5'9", and I hit my head square in the forehead. Were the engineers that designed this thing a bunch of midgets? Or women? Or midget women?

PLease keep your "don't do that" comments to yourself. Of course I will be conscious of that thing from here on out, but it could happen to someone else, or inevitably I will be in a rush and it could happen again.

Lift kit is the answer to your problems,
you'd have to be way over 7 foot to hit your head on mine

Laughed at this until I remembered the time I caught the top of my ear when my head hit the glass turning with a box in arms... looked like a cauliflower-eared UFC interviewee for a few days.

Moved my head around the back glass after the lift and hadn't even thought twice but it'll definitely be less dangerous.

I do that all the time. @ 6'2" you'd think I'd be more than aware of the problem by now but each time it's like the first time. It's even more fun when I have my swing out receiver bike rack on and I hit by shin and then rock my head as I bend over in pain. Don't get me started on the rain dripping down the glass when it's up.
