JCR slider group buy anyone?

With my tax returns coming in soon(hopefully :banghead:

) Im looking to spend it on rock rails and JCR is my first choice personally. I haven't talked to them about this as i'd like to see who is actually interested first. So who would be interested in a JCR liberty slider/rockrail group buy? Im personally looking at stage 3 sliders for more protection. Obviously we'd have to set this up and ask them some questions about it but im just here for interest not to lead the group buy

I think the first step would be to ask them.
Most companies are cutting the profit pretty close anymore.
Plus group buys most times you'll have 500 people want something
but only two end up buying

I understand what you mean, either way i'll be ordering mine but i figured i would toss up the idea here. dont want the responsibility of setting up the group buy either since i wont be here this weekend and since im only 17 :SOMBRERO:

they have the three versions, the version i am interested in is the 3, because the extra couple bucks is worth the protection and the looks :2cents:

I'd say set a tiered discount thats established prior to the buy, based on quantity of participants. 3-5.. 5 percent, 6-15 10 percent...

My numbers could be high or low but the point is, wheel and deal a little first. As you said, I'm in for some soon and could stand to save a few bux these days. Put me down.

Okay so thats two of us. What version would you get bunkermonkey? I may try to contact them this week and see how they feel about this situation. I would say if we could get maybe 10 people in they may be interested. I'll post the updates should there be any.

Contacted JCR via email today. We need a minimum of 20 people to buy sliders of any level/type. Ive been emailing back and forth and would everyone rather have it shipped to a central point for us to all run and grab ours from, or shipped to each individual?

As for the shipping topic, if we had it all shipped to one place it would save us on shipping, but we would need a forklift to move the crate and we'd all need to pick out own up.

That could negate any savings for the deal, driving I mean. 20 percent of 300 is a tank of gas.

Yeah That's a good point. I would prefer to have them shipped individually too, just presenting the options JCR provided.

I'll do Stage 2 or 3 either one...which ever you are able to successfully get a group buy on. But I think 20 people will be hard to come by. Good luck.

well I've priced out the version 3 with the 15 percent off they are offering on their products, and it comes to roughly 345 shipped with the percentage being taken off before shipping(assuming thats how it goes) and that is without the group buy! I am unsure of what the pricing would be with the 20 members and the group buy. At this point im doubting 20 members can come together for this but im hoping we can pull through.

The stimulus sale ended Friday April 1st. We only have a 10% off Introductory sale on the KJ sliders currently. That will end probably by the end of this week.

hence why i put in unless the group buy goes through then im going to wait a while. Im not backing out, im still 100 percent in the group buy if we can get another 17 people.
