remove spring assembly, compress springs, install new shocks reinstall spring assembly

I guess my question Tom after jacking the front of the jeep up and loosening the pinch bolt does the lower control arm fall allowing for the removal of the whole spring shock assembly?

Have you read through how to do a lift? Same thing
There are 4 bolts on top you have to remove, under the airbox and battery,
also the clevis bolt, remove brake caliper, sway bar, tie rod end
some don't remove all of the above but I do its quicker and easier for me
don't attach sway bar back up until after you have the weight back on the tires
Take it to a shop to have springs compressed unless you have a really good compressor and have good insurance
