I didn't have much going on so I decided to start removing the stock suspension. My plan is to also put on Goodyear DuraTrac 245/75/16 on the stock rims. I have read a lot of information posted here that made my decision on what lift to buy a lot easier. Here are a few pics from stock setup. As you can see the front end is sagging pretty good.

The lift will be here in 6 days. I will post some pictures when I get the lift installed and tires on. Thanks to all of you that posted your experiences with lift tare down and install.

No, the lower control arms are still on. Looking at the pictures might be deceiving because of where I tied up the brake calipers. Thanks for the welcome.

Ordered it from http://www.boulderbars.com/frankenlift.htm and the price was $1046.58 plus shipping which was $98.32 with standard shipping. I just bit the bullet and ordered it from this site because it is pre assembled and I didn't want to mess with compressing the springs in the front. I just recently heard of a guy that wasn't careful and the spring got away from him and it shot through his garage wall. Thankfully, he did not get hurt. I like my garage without an extra hole in it. The lift is supposed to be delivered tomorrow and I get the tires and alignment on Friday. Getting anxious to see the new setup.

Do you have any pictures of the pinch weld before and after? I have never had to do this modification before. Thanks.

Never mind, I found a post that explained it.

Is this what it should look like? Before the BFH?

After BFH?

I don't have any time to fix the plastic right now, but I will after the lift and tires.

Just got the lift on and new tires on today. There was a delay getting the rear springs due to the tornados in Kentucky.

I havent measured the height yet, but it is a lot higher than stock. I am happy with how it turned out. Now if I can get it back from my 17 year old son, I can enjoy it........
