Almost finished installing a Euro TC when my buddy noticed an rubber o-ring on the shaft of the old TC. I didn't notice if the Euro converter had an o-ring or not. Now I'm afraid that I may have to pull the newly installed TC because I'm unsure if it had an o-ring... not even sure if it needs one. Anyone know? Thanks

Sorry, I don't know, but perhaps an email to Keith at GDE?

You don't need an O Ring, there is a seal inside of the front pump. O rings on not designed for use on spinning objects. Was it on the engine side, or the tranny side?

The rubber o-ring was on the transmission side of the TC.

Yes, there should be an o-ring on the splined shaft you slide into the tranny. I made darn sure mine was on there when I put it in.

Our stock TCs still had the orings installed, so it was most likely there and you did not notice. Fairly confident the euro TC came with an oring.
