I just did this conversion.. i know people say dont use a fork but im telling you .. your destroying the ball joint anyway.. use a 5 lb mallet and a fork .. it WILL come off ..
do not be gentle either. make sure to get the right size fork its the smaller fork that you want..
AL arms rock.. i just got them on and got my alignment. Something is different in the ride. havent put my finger on it yet. but its Defiantly different.

In order to release the upper ball joint/UCA from the knuckle take a mallet (I use a 5 lbs mallet) and smack the knuckle where the ball joint goes into and it should release eventually. Smack it good, but dont smash it and make sure to hit the knuckle and NOT the UCA.
