Hi.

I put on an OME HD lift (from Quadratec) about 4 months ago and experienced some rubbing at full turn. I didn't think too much about it, I just tried to avoid doing a full turn as far as possible. The other day while trying to park I turned left completely and had my usual rubbing but this time with a CV joint type of noise. Sounded like a cluck, cluck, cluck and was definately from something metallic if you know what I mean.

Should I be worried? Is this rubbing / clucking noise common in OME lifts?

Any advice appreciated.

might want to think about wheel spacers. If you are rubbing the swaybar too much there could be the potenial to break something. Does it still happen? While going straight?

Full lock sway bar rubbing with a lift is unavoidable with stock wheels. I believe moabs and crager fix the issue most times.

Thanks for the advice. It still happens, but only on a full turn, going straight it's fine.

I am going to have a look at wheel spacers, hopefully that will solve the problem.

Yeah my tires rub at full lock but normal turns and straight are fine too. I'm just going to have to deal with it until I can afford to get soft 8s and new tires as I'm not a spacer fan.
