I wish I could help... I installed the RK lift on my old KK 2 years ago and I didn't have any problems with the front. A buddy helped me but we did the full kit with hand tools and a floor jack in a few hours. I wish I could remember how we did the front. If your that stuck try calling RK. I've called them and they seem pretty knowledgeable on the phone and were very helpful.

I was lucky enough to have an impact gun so that has been some help. The person who previously owned didn't take care of it female driver from michigan that lived on a dirt road so you can only imagine what the under carriage looks like..... I might run down and buy new bolts for the front and see if that helps....

As for grabbing the hex bolts I would but I can't get nut up high enough on the threads to get it..... I will order some new arms once I get some more cash flow but right now I can't

Try spraying the threads with some wd40 and clean them with a wire brush.

So far on my new 2011 KK, I've tinted my windows to limousine tint. Next will prolly be cold air intake along with new sparks. Can anyone suggest a good cold air intake?

Yeah don't waste your money and just buy a K&N filter for the box.

i agree with Kennedy, but if you want to get a cold air intake i would toally go with a AEM Brute Force. but i when i changed my filter i just put a K&N air filter and works great!

Kennedy ... Would you say that the grass is greener on the other side of the lift? Everything looks happy and cheery!

Got to use my new tow strap yesterday, it was used to pull my riding mower out of a ditch. Not the first use I had in mind :)

Yeah lol. I am not a fan of my KK I sold my WJ that was lifted to get better gas milage and Originally I looked at a WK but the lady that goes to auction for us kinda talked me into my KK because she could get it so much cheaper then a WK and even Cheaper then the KK's from the stealership. So now that I have the lift I like it a little more but wish it was a solid axle front end. I will probably sell the rock krawler lift soon and create my own lift.

I've done a couple things over the last couple weeks:

First I put in an aftermarket Kenwood Stereo, -x995, along with my amp and 12" sub from my last car. Also used the Axxess interface to keep steering wheel controls.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to change the text on the instrument cluster where it tells you what radio station you are on. Since i put this new one in, it just says "AM 530" all the time. I saw a picture of someone's that says "OCTANE" there...

Then I got my front door windows tinted to match the back. I like it, but I'm thinking about making the back windows darker.

A couple days ago I painted my headlight bezels black.

After (it's a little rainy out):

I've got VHT on the way for the tail lights, and I was thinking about putting it on the front turn signals, but it doesnt look too bad right now. I think i'll keep it the way it is for a little while at least.

Took the Jeep to the Jeep dealership, to get a job at the Jeep dealership. I need a job quick!
Anyways, while I was there they commented on the blacked out grill. I also saw a 2011 Durango RT. That is a NICE car.

First off I'm relatively new to the forum, I purchased my Liberty about 3 months ago. Since that time I've been on the forum daily gathering information on various products and learning much.

This is how my jeep was 3 months ago when I purchased it...

and this is what it looks like today...

I appreciate the amount of time the forum members have spent compiling such a wealth of information on these vehicles, it really makes thing much easier for someone who's just getting started. Thanks!
