Yes it has 6 different magazine spots to it's credit. Plus you post shows me that you have no idea what the car is or how rare it is. People liike you make me laugh when they say they are automobile fans, when actually they do not know anything about what they are talking about. The last magazine was one in Canada a few weeks ago. Try and googleing silver Focus and see how many times the car shows up on magazine sites.

Oh wait now I know who posted so it is par for course coming from you.

I just googled "silver focus" and after 13 pages of nothing about your focus I find it very hard to believe. It's just a focus,as $13,000 brand new entry level tin box on wheels.

Again it shows you you know nothing about cars. It actually is one of 288 made, keep looking. Oh and BTW no Focus was sold for $13,000 MSRP, keep trying you will get it one day, just not today.Oh and as for a "tin box" Look up the awards the C170, C307 and the C346 Foci have racked up since 1998, compare that to your KJ. Here I will make it easy for you, look at post Wed Apr 13, 2011 7:19 pm and that will give you the latest magazine spot.

Again you have come into this area to pick a fight, what you have done is shown your ignorance. Good job, you seem to accel at this in your posts here in the CRD forum. Consistance, that's a good quality. BTW do you have a mullet? Oh and BTW that Mustang Cobra you posted is one of the worse handling Mustangs to come out in a while. The best were the Cobra R's but no one can find them and the ones that do come up are too expensive to track. The only real Cobra badged car that made a good track car was the AC Cobra, a car that every other performance car to this day is compared to.

How about the CRD  :BINGO:

Should be picking up the KJ in June when the wife is here and we can go down together and pick it up. Beats flying down to Charlotte. So I will be back to DD the KJ to keep the miles off the Focus (168K) I ordered a new TC from the dealer and they let me have it for $390, fair. So far the dealer has been pretty good about it all. John Green is a small dealer but the labor rate is good, they are friendly and they do what they can to help out when the cards are down. More so than what Jeep did. BTW anyone checked thevalue of a KJ CRD lately? KBB went up like $3k.

Always does when fuel prices spike... People recognize and respect a vehicle that weighs 4300 lbs with the aerodynamics of a brick that can get 30mpg on the highway and tow small buildings. I spoke with a guy who was driving a huge Powerstroke... He said he gets 15mpg empty, and 18 with a load on. When I told him I get 28 when hauling arse at 75 on the highway, I think his brain locked up.

Chrysler was SO stupid to stop selling these things here, but ALL the manufacturers have been stupid to allow the junk science of the CARB to pollute good science in favor of witch hunts against diesel. If this country's transport situation was reversed (diesel penetration where gas is today) I contend that the total oil needs of this country would be about 40% of what they are today. Want to save the planet AND have lower oil prices? Here's a thought - Do ANYTHING you can to USE LESS FUEL! You cannot have more emissions when you are using less fuel, it is simple conservation of energy. Burn more fuel, you WILL have more emissions. Lower prices? Less demand = price drops. Simple economics. Why can't the EPA understand this?

John Green called yesterday while I was on a call and said they could not find an oil cooler in the parts systems so there is now another delay, maybe till the end of the month. They did not want to reuse the old one due to the metal content that was in the cooler after several flushes. So it sounds like the turbo bearing shat themselves.

I think he means it came without an oilcooler and the one from the broken engine isn't useable..

Was it a brand new 'complete' engine that was shipped (injectors, pump, sensors, etc.), or was it just a long block with some parts needed?

Complete engine minus some swap parts even came with oil in it. It is running and ready for pickup after I finish paying the $8100 total bill not including the money I paid back in November. Sometime next month I will get it after I figure out how to get it back up here

And you get to keep the blown engine for parts?

No there is acore charge on the engine. They have been driving it around to make sure everything is good to go. Also the battery was dead, duh, and they installed a NEWER one. Wanted to charge me for it but I told them the batter was less tha 90 days old when the CRD crapped out and Autozone should replace it for free. Well thay asked where the receipt was , found it, had AZ bring them a new one and installed it. WOW! free battery replacement. Not sure if John Green would work on another CRD but so far they have been very fair and good to me. There has been a light at the end of the tunnel. Mid July is my pick up time frame. Just need to figure out the logistics of it all.

OK Looks like 20 Aug will be the day I pick up the CRD from the dealer. All my payments have been copied and sent to Jeep for reimbursement for the past 8 months. We will see what they say. Ravi4l is driving me down in his 05 CRD he just bought. 5300 miles on the odo, yes that was correct five thousand three hundred miles. It was a rollover salvage he got cheap. It is not perfect but it runs well. Getting ready to have some GDE mods done to it.
