EdValencia = Edwin Valencia (Yeah very creative!)

I chose it when I first joined the KJJEEP board. Had never been on a forum before, so I din't know how creative people can get.

From my pre-internet BBS days my online name has always been Moth. I was a metalhead/goth back in the day. Put the zero in for 1337 points. :)

Now I know why every time I hear you talk I think of Sandy the squirrel from Sponge Bob Square Pants.

I think I've been hanging around my son too long. I need to go wheeling more often :?

Ed, you crack me up man...Moab baby...really I guess I should say Calico Baby...seeing that is our next big run. We are filming this time around ED. Maybe I should just leave my jeep at home and ride along. It is so hard to film when wheeling is involved.... Later...Clint

Longarm of the Law. I've had that name since 99. Well, it could mean something else, but I was instructed per the first page of this forum to keep it clean.

I was to lazy to think of something more original. And the name says it all.

Well, I had a knee operation a few years back and a co-worker nicely called me a "gimp". When I started mudding (who remembers what that is?), I used "gimp" as my handle. I also use "gimpjomama" (friends and I came up with that one while making up bowling screen names ) or "da gimp".

I live next to a mountain range known as the Wasatch Mountains and I guess 14 other people liked the same name on AOL so I got Wasatch15.

Another somewhat obvious one - with a twist!

I actually bought my KJ on 9/11/01 (True Story)

I was a little concerned at the happenings of that morning and was not sure if I should be purchasing a vehicle. The salesman stated that he wanted to go be with his family and that I should make an offer since they were probably going to close for the day. Then the general manager came over (to watch happenings on TV with us) and said 'if you want this vehicle you better get it quick'. I told them that I was going to have to consider this over the next couple of days and he jokingly said 'Do it to protect your liberty' to which I replied Liberty and Justice for all... And the salesman replied 'all for your Liberty'. Reading this it might seem like we were taking the situation lightly but believe me - we were all pretty freaked out. So, I did my part to keep the economy going and got the only fully loaded KJ with leather, offroad package, tow package, track lok, etc. with the 31K sticker on the window and offered them 25 out the door - they countered with 26K and I accepted. The rest is history.

02LIBRT is my tag - My first choice for my plate was 4LIBRT but I got 02LIBRT instead. Oh to liberty... 2002 liberty... yadda, yadda, yadda...

Later,
J

My nickname has been toad since day one, and I live in Phoenix... Decided to not go with Hornytoad, although that probably be appropriate, too.

I first started to use the internet around the World Trade Center disaster, and since I spent a week at the Ground Zero area for Rescue/Recovery efforts, I figured I would use my agency's name --- Tri Community Ambulance Service -- TCAS, and 1355 is my badge number.[/b]

Jeepgirl, may seem obvious but there is a little historry ....

I had a Jeep and it died and I was heartbroken , so when I happened upon my little renny I was so excited I told everyone who would listen about it. One day we were in a boring work meeting and in an effort to get everyone to communicate we had to say our name and something that we liked that started w/ the first letter of our name so I said " My name is Jenn and I love my Jeep". So as we were walking out of the meeting my boss said something and I was like " did you just call me cheap thrill ?" he said NO , I called you Jeepgirl , and it stuck and here we are!

Limited Lurker has mixed meanings

I have a knack for moving around without being noticed. My former office was located on a wooded river bank and I used to go for walks at lunch. As I headed back to the office I would often come out of the woods and sneak up on co-workers who were out walking around the parking lot/driveway. I was accused of lurking in the woods (Seen The Village?). The 2nd side of lurking is from the internet term. This was my first BB experience and I lurked here for a while before finally becoming a member.

Limited comes from the fact that I drive a Liberty Limited. The second part of Limited was that I tried to limit the amount of time I spent lurking around here. Notice I'm just a Charter Member, no Junkie rating yet.
