nope... with todays clear coat wax isnt really necessary. it just makes the clear shine better by filling/removing fine scratches in the clear. If you NEVER wax a car with todays clear it will never fade.. unless it actually breaks down in 20 years or so in extreme sun and heat.

That depends on the clear used and waxing or using some kind of protectant is highly advised.Brand new OEM paints are not the best, about middle of the road paint on quality and will fade if left unwaxed in less then 2 years. The fun in trying to matched faded paint, took longer then actually fixing the dumb thing.

Wow! That is beautiful! Perfect color choice IMHO.

As for the roof I think thats a great idea. I can still reach my roof, but since I use my jeep as a jungle gym so much the paint on the roof is eventually going to get pretty rough. Just need to find some time to bedline it so Ill never have to scrub it or worry ever again. As of right now it takes more time to scrub the roof then it does to scrub the rest of the jeep. :banghead:

Sick Jeep! I've always liked the OD Green and now I wish they made the KJ's/KK's in that desert sand color :D
