Hi I had bought a 2006 Jeep Liberty CRD two months ago and everything was fine. Recently my air conditioning only works when to switch is on 4. I read an article saying that this was one of the re-calls and I was just looking to see if anyone can please provide me with more information about this. Also, I believe my coolant tank may have a leak due to the face that i topped it off at the beginning of the week and now it is seriously low once again, does anyone know anything about this?

Check the relay/switch behind the glove compartment. That happened to me and a $25 relay/switch from autozone solved my problem! To get to it remove the glove compartment door by pressing in on the top corners to allow it to unfold more than the stoppers will allow. You will see it in there.

if it's the same part (probably is) that the 3.7s use you can get an upgraded version of the same part , ask for a chrysler sebring 2003 blower regulator

part number RU1040 by BWD (borg)

be careful with the red retainer that keeps the plug from unplugging, it's a pain in the bootox to unclip

The part is called a "Resister" and the one from the Sebring is much improved. Somewhere here there's a thread where I pictured both of them.

For your cooling leak. Just because the level in the bottle goes down don't "assume" the bottle is the problem :|
Some have had coolant leaks from the oil cooler mounted somewhere on the passenger side of the engine.
