Reason I ask is because I think some of the projects, esp. the rear and front bumpers, are pretty slick - especially for the cost. I also noticed that they needed Jeep Liberties (they said new body styles, but I'm not sure if they're referring to the KK or the 06/07 style with the different grille/bumper) to fit new projects on, which would require leaving them the Lib for 2 weeks or so. "Volunteering" for this also has a benefit of some hefty discounted products and installation. I am in a peculiar situation here, because I will be heading off to Ranger School (at least 62 days of not being able to drive my car) in less than a month and would be able to volunteer my vehicle for the rewards. Just wondering if anyone's had any experience with them or their products before I contact them regarding leaving my Liberty there ...and hopefully not finding something dinged or scratched up when I get back. Thanks.

Google led me to this...

http://www.kenmtnac.com/KJ1stgen.html

I'm still looking around on the site though. Front bumper isn't really my style, but the rear might be ok.

Oh, I have seen them before. The bumpers look beefy, not sure about the step sliders though. I'd want steeper angles toward the tires and foglight cut-outs in that front bumper, myself.

too square front and rear, rear could be made better with a cutting torch and 4 hours of time  Looks cheap and tacky

I think the front bumper is butt ugly and there is no hope for it The back bumper would be a lot better if they rounded off all the edges. Make it more like the rounded features of the KJ.

I'll give them a -D on all their products. But, thank them for trying..........now, get back to the drawing boards!

Looks like they do custom sliders too:

http://www.kenmtnac.com/Jeep.html

But I can't tell how they attach to the pinch weld. :?

I am not a fan at all, I'll be honest. The reason it is less expensive, is b/c of the quality of work. RL, ARB, and SC all do great work!!! They can sell their products for what they are, b/c of reputation and pure looks!

I have to say that, at least based on what I see on their website, I agree.

Which is a shame because they are just on the other side of ATL from me -- less than a 20 min drive...

HMM.....

They are on to something. I don't know why they stoped. Could use a few more touch up's

What is up with the front bumpber? Notice where the top fenders meet the steel? Looks like they cut str8 insted of a slight angle or curve. That looks like it was half done.

It looks like they put way more effort into their other jeep accessories than the kj ones. Their xj rear bumpers look pretty nice. :?

I know I'm digging up an old thread and all, but I spoke with a guy who had a Kennesaw front bumper on a Nissan Titan today while gassing up my motorcycle. I was impressed with what I saw... I've done a google search on the company. I sent an e-mail to the company asking some questions about their products. According to the shipping adress their web-site a round trip from my house to their warehouse would be under 500 miles, at a rough fuel cost estimate of ninety bucks... I asked if they had any pics of their products mounted on KJ's... and for cost as I spec'd, with a winch mount, shackle mounts, and either A-style, or pre-runner grille gaurds, and a price with LED turn signals, versus incandescent signals, versus no turn sinals. I'll be looking forward to hopefully hearing back from them; and to any feedback here on the forum.... If I'm gonna spend around 900 bucks, (bumper, fuel, lodging (don't really wanna drive 1000 miles in a day,) and food; I'd like to know what i'd be getting. 900 dollars is three weeks worth of working; after Uncle Sammy gets his cut...ANY feedback would be great...

I contacted them about making bumpers for newer Liberties and they said they could design one if they had the Liberty. They are just about three hours from me. Unfortunately my summer ended and I am back in the classroom.

Their new web address is:
