well i think it's finally done now.. cosmetically at least. few more pics.. and some pics of my new seat covers!

looks like 2 different colors when the sun is on it vs in the shade... weird because its a solid color. there is 0 metallic/pearl in the paint.

the covers aren't 'perfect' fitting as you can see.. but the added storage and 2 more cup holders is really nice to have.

What exactly did you do to the tails to smoke them? Certain paint? Or vinyl ?

What does the inside of the engine bay look like? Did you paint in there too, or is it still red?

That’s a good question. He would have to pull the motor to paint the firewall. The inside fenders could have been painted if he took the fenders off. He showed pictures of the freshly painted inside doors and panels. My guess is that he hasn’t painted the entire engine bay (firewall).

firewall is still red  until this spring haha. The fenders are all painted ... and everything under the fenders/front end/ under the back bumper/quarters/ all inner fenders is all flat blacked. The engine bay/firewall will be flat blacked as well. I'm just going to take off what i can... mask off what's left.. and flat black it.

the engine bay... and rear diff cover are the only pieces still red! and both will be flat black in the spring.
